TNPSC group 1 exam syllabus 2015 for prelims, mains

Board Name – Tamil Nadu Public Service commission

Name of the examination – Group I exam

TNPSC Group 1 exam date 2015 – 8th November

TNPSC Group1 Exam pattern – Preliminary exam and main exam.

Mark allocation – 300 marks for Prelims and 1024 marks for main exam.

Subjects – General Studies, General Knowledge and Aptitude.

Vacancy – DSP, Deputy Collector, Assistant commissioner of Commercial tax and District registrar.

Duration – For preliminary 3 hours, in the main exam for each paper 3 hours (Totally it contains 3 papers under general studies category).

As per the above mentioned TNPSC group 1 exam pattern the candidates should attend the preliminary exam. Then the aspirants those are cleared with minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted to attend the Main exam. Only the candidates those who get passed in both examinations will be shortlisted to attend the third level of the selection process which is the personal interview.
